stand up to the bar so, she ripped your heart from you have another beer gone like melted wax so, she promised endless love oh well never mind you tried your best moves it was laughter all the while so, you're not alone endless lines of fans meandering the sidewalks wonder what went wrong ©2003 by icebox |

Seymour Tabin ~ Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me. Enchantress ~ Hi! Thank you. nakdthoughts ~ *smile* My sense is that you would not treat people this way. *smile* Susan Caldwell ~ Well, I was part of a casual conversation wherein a person put forth the proposition that we get what we deserve in our social encounters and that people should stop whining about their petty disappointments and rejections. My sense of the person taking this position however was very strongly that she had experienced very little rejection in her life. So much so that I might wager money on her not even getting red lights when she drives. Basically, she does not live by the concept of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This conversation prompted this poem. So, what went wrong? Well, sometimes we choose badly. *smile* |
