To come
from darkness
into the light
as shadows lift
from the night
as peace settles
in and all is right
and love has crested
in eye's sight

In purple shadows of passions light

As the valley
below the mount
gives me shelter
I shall count
on the one true love
that I know of
in the lee of his heart
the words he imparts
this one love

In golden glow of passions might

So beneath the light
in water's fall
'neath rainbow high
God, my sigh
shall reach his ear
he shall hear
the want of me
'tis heavenly
this one love
