that's it, i'm done who cares, i'm through i don't care anymore i've hardened my heart i'll cry not one more tear i'm tired of searching in all the wrong places for wishing and praying for a stupid ol' dream i started from the beginning believed the best in you gave all i had to give put myself aside too often thought you were what i wanted now i realize i'm the fool this could never really work you're a selfish person i give all i have so i give in and now you win i hope you're happy as a lark you got just what you wanted so good-bye hopes and dreams and all that goes with that crap Failure isn't failure if a lesson from it is learned ~ KS |

ouch Hope next week will bring some sunshine and hope for you, Kristie. Meanwhile, keep reading and writing, and looking forward to new adventures. |

i really liked this. the free style really just helped make it so much more personal and poignant. i especially like the way you augmented then diminished the number of lines each stanza. it was really a wonderful read. makes me want to hug ya so ![]() ~*Alnilam*~ |
