One tiny word from pen
arrived in letter from a friend
Stirring poeticism ... once again~

'Whispery', she said ...
and I smiled, knowing the intend~

Dip of quill in welling ink
springs the word to life
Mission of a heart in seek
to spill the colors through ink-of-think~

'Whispery'
Yes, it is just like that~

Comes in soft, soft gray
yet sometimes purpled hues
Fills the inking well
of word-thoughts to be used~

Inspire from gentle pen
Thank you my friend
you've done it again~

my ps' p...i love that word...whispery...it fits so many things...it raises so much emotion in me...(i may have to even steal it one day for something of my own if you don't mind...helen

Ah Marge...what a nice inspiration from a good friend, eh? What a lovely word, too...it brings soft pics to mind, like a newborn swathed in a soft pastel blanket...oh, the list could go on forever! Lovely write, Marge...~S~

Isn't it amazing how one word can spark such a lovely write?...Hmmm, seems somebody has told me that before...one word can move the muse...LOL. I love the word whispery and you did it proud!
