Great splashes of herbies, And woodies Foaming verdant At the feet of tall waves That crash up, Rolling mountain sides. (After long retreat) * Cloud shades Darken hill-tops Of jade-swells Rising up, From pillows of olive And emerald green. * Do these tints (I question) Why, This tide ebbing art Like wide stretching, Seas, paint (Romantic in spring) Such beauty on my brain?.... |
