In the still of the night

Silence broken
By echo’s of the thoughts
racing through my mind

Awakening every part of me

Uncontrollable emotions stir within
As I lay defenceless
Powerless over that which now consumes me

I become lost in thoughts of you

Capturing every moment
We have spent in each others arms

Overwhelmed by the warmth of your touch

Longing to hear the beat of your heart
As I lay my head upon your chest

I am left breathless

In the still of the night
