Listening to every heart

Waiting for You

Eternity has been
Multiplied
In a heartbeat,
Love comes quietly on
Yesterday’s bless

Patience, a virtue, with
Acceptance of faith
In all that
God gives in the gift of
Emily Paige

~*~

Those were my thoughts on the wind
The breeze that carried my wishes
For you
Then you were solid
And warm in my arms
And you squiggled in the warm wait
Of all I knew to be true, of
What I wanted for you,

Then, when you arrived, that
Was the moment
Our whispers began, for, as girls say,
Because,
Just because…

Just you and I, shhh, only the
Two of us
Know what’s in store…
And the world shall await
Your treasures.

Happy Birthday, Emily…

Me thinks we are looking at the next generation of a poet...even her beautiful name is poetic.
Shes lovely Kari, as is this poem to welcome her into your heart.

Ahhhhhhhh! She is so lovely, and your words touch her beauty like only a proud grandmother could do, Karilea. You should print this and professionally frame it with her pictures included ... what a   They will be wonderful whispers that can be treasured in remembrance many years down the road.

It is not too often that pride and love ooze out of my monitor, but you've managed it.  This is a lovely write and may Emily come to know what a gifted grandmother she has. KJ
