This Road is My Cowboy Tonight

This road is my cowboy tonight,
It’s gonna mesmerize my mind,
Gonna take me through its depths,
Toward a world of pure intense.

I wanna gamble with speed limits,
See my life through Dale Jr’s eyes,
Take a minute here and pray
As I’m traveling from dismay.

This road is my cowboy tonight,
It’s gonna mesmerize my mind,
Gonna take me through its depths,
Toward a world of pure intense.

Gonna be a tourist overnight,
Seeing signs like they’re off in flight,
Oblivious, yet in awe,
Of my life seen without flaws.

To many detoured roads made wrong,
Destinations, where my heart belongs,
A few more hours to go,
Than with you our lives will flow.

Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent.

I wonder what my life would look like through Dale Jr's eyes. LOL. Anyways I'm anxious to see what can be done with this to put some lyrics to it.
