Grizzly bears and fairy books
Denim jeans and lace
Sunlight streams
Through kitchen doors,
As I kiss
Your smiling face.
Harley pipes and wind chimes
Neil Young and Prince
Music played
When we first met,
Two hearts dance
Together ever since.
Arguments and apologies
Sobriety and slips
"I love you"
Will always be,
The final words
To pass between our lips.
Tombstone and Brigadoon
Shootouts and songs
No matter what
Tomorrow brings,
It's with each other
We belong.

Thankyou poet friends. This was written a few years ago for my husband. His birthday is Christmas Day, so I usually try to give him a gift of words as he really treasures that. This meant alot to us both as it describes our home as well as our relationship. I am glad you liked it! hugs.

I remember this poem, I was doing a search trying to find poems about angels and this came to the top of the list. I loved it the first time and still love it so I'm glad that it is back up on page one. It's beautiful, Chris.
