“Can you see the moon?”, he asked her in his languid Southern drawl “I’m in your night’s tomorrow”, she replied “And there is no moon at all” The miles were bridged by wires His voice seemed right next door Still it made her wish for just a little more… She poured a cup of coffee While he poured out some wine No lull in conversation broke the spell And it felt so very fine To hear each other’s voices Though they were worlds apart And talking brought some joy into each heart… “It’s time to go”, he told her “But I wish that I could stay There’s just so much that I need to know So much I want to say” “Next time it’s me that’s calling” She insisted, he gave in They said goodbyes, and hung up more than friends… Her day was filled with sunshine His night was filled with dreams It goes to show that nothing is impossible Never like it seems All distance can be conquered It’s miles upon some map To every heart with deep desire There’s ways to bridge the gap! Sunny A cyber romance perhaps? Love the lyrical quality of these words, and of course the visuals they imbue. ...ice... |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sunnyone, you are so right, sweet friend, it just didn't work for me, as I know Joanna truly loved me when we used to be so close even in long-distance romance, then she said on New Years Day she never loved me when she really did write me love poems and send me love cards, and broke my heart! (sad sigh) I'm just happy that others are more fortunate and hope those relationships work out, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sunnyone, thank you for sharing! May love and light awlays shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |

Oh Noah, I am sorry if this brought back some painful feelings...I know that you will find the real happiness that you deserve, little brother, and when that day comes, your family here at Passions will celebrate with you...hugs to you.....~S~ Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |

Oh Sunny, this is so true. I know that you know it is, too. "All distance can be conquered"....oh yes, if both want it to be bad enough, and if there's enough love in their hearts for each other. I'm going to keep this, my friend, since I relate to it so much. I hope that you don't mind? Hugs to you and your hubby Ethel |

Hi Janette, and I don't want to mislead anyone here, as this scenario has close similarities to my real life story...(except my husband has an English accent!!!)I'm afraid I'm the one with the drawl!! LOL!! Thank you...~S~ Hi Ethel, and I'm honoured that you would keep my work!! Thank you so much, and it's nice to be able to share with you, as your name is in my library here also!!!! ~S~ Hi Lisann, and it really is true, as I am living proof that distance can be put aside if you want to bad enough...thank you so much! ~S~ Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ |
