Dreams, streams, and paper reams
and still they don’t know what it means
Written words not to be heard
forgotten now, it seems…

Thoughts, plots, and time I bought
We’re seeing now what fate has brought
Scores composed now decompose
Was all of it for not…?

Time has caught up with desire
and cooled the fire
of my inspire
for Truth reveals a different tale
when you’re for sale and I’m for hire
