I am the doll upon his shelf until one day he brings me down he cuddles me, says loving words it feels like happiness I've found I look so pretty in my joy to once again be close to him until he tires of what I give only to toss me on a whim Now lonely back on dusty shelf I wonder when he will be back and why he always goes away what need of his is what I lack? |

 (big hugggsssssss) Oh Sandra, this is so very sad, sweet friend, this reminded me of the scene in Toy Story 2 when the little girl used to play with the cowboy girl doll then as she grew up and got into cosmetics rejected her! (sad sigh) I know how love can feel like that, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, fear not, there will be one who will always be devoted to your value, we all love you so much! very sad yet relatable piece. The one thing i've discovered......when you spend your life trying to please someone......that is precisely how long it is going to take. The only person you need to please.....is you. Take care of yourself and never change who you are FOR ANYBODY....particularly someone who doesn't appreciate you in the first place. |
