Etched in the illusion of time

Tiny princesses of delicacy
Seeking sweetness 'tween sunlight
O, to sip from flow'rs like jasmine tea
Bathed in invisibility's fair delight!

Seeking sweetness 'tween sunlight
So blurred 'gainst the paling sky
Bathed in invisibility's fair delight
Fearing twilight, they flit and fly

So blurred 'gainst the paling sky
Tragic hummingbirds thirsting for relief
Fearing twilight, they flit and fly
Whilst sentiment wets their throats with grief

Tragic hummingbirds thirsting for relief
O, to sip from flow'rs like jasmine tea
Whilst sentiment wets their throats with grief
Tiny princesses of delicacy

For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.--"Romeo and Juliet"

This is a very enjoyable poem. Thanks for sharing here with us.

Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent.
