Sitting on the park bench with the contented smile on my face I watch the old lady toss bread crumbs to the many pigeons. The lonely sparrow looking lost amongst the various colors of the scavengers only getting an occasional crumb from his bigger brethren Lovers hold hands and look longingly into each others eyes as they stroll by gay and happy Butch and Betty compare tattos and short hairstyles and tales of conquest I listen intently to the endless chatter of my friend, close and loving but silence is golden Wishing for an ice cream but no vendors in sight I smell the incense of the street book seller A warm day I enjoy the people watching and the sounds and smells of the city Life is so diverse |

I really enjoy the sights and sounds you have captured here. I like to visit a place that is not my own familiar territory and just drink in whatever is happening. Yes, diversity, you've worded it so well. ~K~ |
