Awaken Thy Heart By Paul Wilson With eyes open we gaze upon ourselves Visions of what we are… what we’ve become Looking at the world in a different way Searching through our past and where we’ve come from Tomorrow is near or is it yesterday We turn away and our mind becomes a haze Our future will soon be tomorrows past Before it's too late embrace these days Let your heart be gentle and kind Share it with all…kindness is free Be the one that says I’m sorry Open your eyes and let your heart see We can make a difference with just a smile A gentle touch or word spoken softly Let your heart awaken to a new you Share this gift of love with all you see Be the one that says I care Show compassion in all you do Make the world a better place Just become a better you "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (08-22-2003 04:23 AM).] |
