i watched you die today while being pampered by the girl with almond eyes, i saw you gasp for breath with reddened toes, i sat, watching helplessly a life go by, i administered your last rites in silence, as your very own went on their day, and i wondered if they even knew and just turned themselves the other way, i never heard your muffled cries and i wondered why it seemed that one outside your glasshouse world would care more than your own, i saw you die today and wished you love, in a 30 minute pedicure, this fragile life smacking me, swimming with the fish beside my eyes [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (08-22-2003 08:26 PM).] |

Sounds of life running away .... though it comes with the teritory, it should not have to be that way. Good for you to have cared enough to notice. [This message has been edited by ctowen (08-21-2003 06:07 PM).] |

"swimming with the fish" smile. I love that. A bit of onimous foreshadow, and if I may, I add this one to the people watching collection? Melancholy but not without grit. I enjoyed. |

Your words made me think of... It is funny how in life sometimes at the least or unexpected moment we may conjure a memory, whether happy or sad, or we learn of a tragedy that we didn't expect. Enjoyed! |

A very deeply felt write, leaving me with much to think on. Very well written and very much enjoyed. *btw* Love your critique! I must have had my momma's will |
