It was a mystical feeling
as she looked into the skies
She could see the dream she had awakened from
clearly unfolding before her eyes

Every scene in her dream
was appearing just as she had seen
With little fairies and leprechauns
in a world where she was queen

In this land she saw so clearly
she felt like Alice in Wonderland
Or the fairy Godmother of Cinderella
with the magic wand in her hand

Who by waving her magical wand
could make her magic appear
of the gown, the slippers, the dance
and the prince who was so sincere

Now she is realizing
as upon these scenes she sees
She could make dreams happen
and make real her fantasies

In a land where all are happy
and all dreams can become true
For hers have unfolded before her eyes
for her to see clearly in plain view

(big hugggssssss) Oh Ethel, I know how beautiful these dreams are, sweet friend, when I was a little boy I used to have nightmares every night and I never wanted those dreams to come true, and now I have happy dreams of my dream girl and unicorns and faeries and I want so much for them to come true!
