This poem is about and for my friend Jimmy who has autism. My angel has a name. I sit here and wonder How this came to be An angel came down And for some reason chose me The angel was caring And guided my way My life got better and better And happier each day I needed the help So that’s what God sent He made me a path And that’s where I went The angel that saved me Didn’t go home He stayed down on earth To keep as my own Without Gods angel That guided my way There’s no way of knowing What I’d be today So how do I thank him? What do I say? I remember his gifts Kneel down and pray Never taken for granted My angel is loved Thank you God for the angel You sent from above My angel has a name. His name is Jimmy. © 2003 |

this was very touching and sweet...you both are very fortunate...enjoyed If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |
