Resting in thought with the sweet side of mind I find moment’s peace and a presence of kind I feel my heart warm to a moment of charm And find not a ripple to waver my calm My eyes come to close as I drift with a song To places abound where my dreams all belong And I can look back on the road I had tread Before my eyes focus on what lies ahead I’m resting in thought of my life everyday In wonder and ponder of what’s on its way And I do conclude that what comes I will see To deal with and sort with no matter what be On the side of sweet mind, reminisce of a smile There holding the good times, if just for a while There finding my life to be filled with appeal When finding sweet mind, so joyful I feel |
