If I was there right now would you let me hold your hand? Could I wake you in the night, Would you ever understand? Is it just for recognition, Just a comfort for the days? Do you smile when you see me? Do you want to change your ways? If I cried into your shoulder Would you ache to see my pain? Would you laugh at my emotion? Am I just here for the gain? Or, is there something more? Is there something unexpressed? Could you dare to tell it to me, I'm not terribly impressed. Because I don't notice enjoyment, When I never hear your voice. And it seems like I'm unwanted... But I guess, that is your choice. - And so it was that time stood still - |
