I knew at once
when the words
"I remember"
fell from your lips
what you would say

and I felt
Pain
Because I knew
in less than a
moment
It would become
my fault

And I fought
weakly, for an instant
but was all to
willing
to take the blame

and suffering
feels like justice
and I hope
in the ending
of fairytale
blame

that you healed
while I suffered
under your loving
scrutiny, as you looked
for a reason
and I was that
reason
for
Pain

Very fine write, apparently
from a sensitive, empathic
and understanding spirit.

I like a poem with sensitivity
and you've clearly expressed
this with few, but selective words.

'Tiz feathers that make the bird -
Always remember to keep them fluffed
but, never, EVER ruffle them!
