He sat back in his chair Staring into the fire Thinking, feeling, wondering About the life he had led to this point Was he ready to die here in this moment Did he have regrets to dispel Was he sorry for what he had done or not He considered himself right then Dogs at his feet, Brandy at his lips Alone, always alone His sightless eyes continued to gaze at the flames The snifter shattered to the floor And he rode his final thoughts into the Beyond We are all equal but we’re individually different and able to reach the impossible if we try. Brad . . . God this is sad . . . Was he ready to die here in this moment Did he have regrets to dispel I know I am not ready to die . . . not afraid to just not ready A lot of thoughts here . . . am wondering if he just gave up or if he was truly satisfied enough to move on? It is too late to make think lol *smile* xxoo |

Well, I certainly hope my passing is as easy physically; however, to die alone would be very sad. A poignant piece of writing. I could visualize the whole scene--you made it seem so real... EA |

"Dogs at his feet Brandy at his lips" smile. I've heard of worse endings. Nicely done, Ringo. |
