I don't think I can do this anymore.
I've lost my touch...I'm a bore!
I can't write the words I know
Face it now, I'm no Poe.
But...
No, no buts here.
I don't even have the strength to fear!
What is wrong with me?
Is there something ELSE I'm "destined" to be?!
Dance or Fame?
Is this some sort of game?
Do people laugh in when I fail?
Does it give them some sort of mail?
Gosh!
I don't even make sense nowadays,
I just sit and write, the only ways.
The only ways to get across
the words I need to rid the loss.
Help me now...
I don't think I can do this anymore,
Face it now...I'm a bore!

Dance, the repetition of "bore" is a nice little circle to tie up at the end of the poem--and it's done in a light-hearted and humorous way, which makes for an enjoyable read. Definitely like the dark Poe comparasion to a poem so light.
