In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-08-01 11:23 PM

{From the Notebook}
     another chapter

Stillness of fire:

all night      across black sky
the shadows  of    gray;
the moon   leans,
lifts the sea
empty still
soft exhale of   lavender earth

{would I recognize}

How the wind speaks    when
       playing with
rocks    along        the  shore

    You, part of it
my vision of beauty --
I captured images,
       trailing along  rainbows --
greeted          the moon in darkness
    figures of light
now, in  rainless skies

I hold rain in my hands;
        time;
petals of   a    rose
sweet surrender

{Winter has arrived}

in forms of early dew
long     forgetten     flowers
in lonely   vases     --

again I

kiss the night air--
watch  tides    shift and move--

give me strength,
to rest this moment        in your heart

You live in my embrace
    nobody knows
each level    of meaning --

fragments      & symbols

random clouds  &  fallen leaves

dusk will  whisper
in the midst of a crowd
I often see their reflections
on walls; in clock faces with no numbers

so very tender

     the touch I remember

The way you move me
I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on
It always comes
Back to you

Your absences will be forgiven, as long as bring a gift like this when you return...

Wonderful!

"soft exhale" .. yes.. thats the way your beautiful, ethereal, poetry comes across.

oh how I needed to touch your remember...
for it allows me to touch my own...
the words have not come in so long...
still, as I read you...I feel them stirring..

and your signature... yessssssssss

missed you me lovely butterfly girlie.
