I know how it feels for once to be scared limbs rickety, stomach knotted, nostrils flared Looking into a crystal ball of pure blackness Perfecting each nightly prayer with practice Waiting...waiting for "him" to send a miracle soon than later My moods go up and down frequent as an elevator They urge me to get some rest but I'm not able I neuroticly tap my fingers buggin everyone at the table When..I want to know when my loved one will come home? Docs formulate a plot to lie cause the answer's unknown The lines go haywire, going straight back to wavy Invasion of the machines, set to save him, save me Thoughts crossfire, paralyzing my head internally Will relief come, or am I to suffer alone permanently? I can't sleep, cause when I try I see the machines They beep and haunt my dreams... then fade Into a background to go along with my shrill screams All these medical terms, to me are like chinese scripts Can't comprehend them, just jibberish from doctors' lips It's crazy, I know, but I've turned into a nervous wreck Becoming repetitious like a casette stuck in a tape deck and I'm bout to lose it any minute, better yet, any sec |

Joanna, Dear girl...these are hard times. You've come to the write(sic) place for sure. Peace & courage... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Joanna, I am so happy to see you again here, though I'm saddened to feel the tears in this poignant poem! (sad sigh) I hope everything is OK, dearest friend, I've missed you and hope soon the "terminator" comes and fights those machines away from your life and defends you from all of harms way, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joanna, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |
