Silence

I think that at times
Perhaps the best
Way to show my love
Is not to say a word -–
-- For I might injure
The fragile vase
That holds our passion
-- With words that
my mind taunts --
-- But which are foreign
To the lips of my heart.

Nicely said and done...love is fragile and can break into a million pieces when the words come out all wrong.
