This is about my Godchild. He's about 28 months old (Almost two and a half Years old).I wrote this when I was depressed a few months ago. Enjoy.

~*~Young Child~*~

A sweet young boy
His small hands reaching,
His feet running,
His mind growing,
His heart leaning to love.
He realizes the changes
As he approaches me and hugs me.
A sweet young boy
collapsing in my weak arms.
A sweet young boy
Smiling as if the sun
Were to shine everyday.
Even when he knows he did something wrong,
The same soft cheeks glow with envy and
Happiness and he looks at you with
Those same blue eyes, same smile
That makes you give in.
I hold him dear to me
Everytime he falls,
A tiny tears leaves his eyes.
"It'll be okay I tell him."
In no time, he's back up and running around.
He turns and looks for me,
He see's me and starts running.
I see him, and I kneel down
To reach out my arms as I await his arrival
And as a quickly as a lightning flash,
I lift him to the heavens
And watch him glow as the stars do
at night.

~*~Young Child~*~

Enchanting dear Windsong. Nothing is more uplifting than the sunshine that is shared through the eyes of little children.

"I lift him to the heavens and watch him glow as the stars do at night"---how poetic!--and loving of you!

Sounds like you are both fortunate to have each other!

Angel blessings of love,
