In the softness
of a breathe
of fresh air.

In the words
so pure
that they filter
into beautiful thoughts.

The music of a poet
creates the images
of visual pleasure
within the notes
of the mind.

In a delicate melody
deep within the heart,
it beats out a rhythm
from the backwaters
of who you are.

From a dynamic voice
it sings out
its message of love,
exploding within its emotions
of the written word.

In a stormy chorus,
all the instruments
of stellar intuition
light up the sky,
thundering reasoning.

For the poet’s music
must reside in
another’s understanding
to continue to hum it,
till the end of time.
