Night Wear

night holds
a fragrance
so appealing
where the moon
glows brighter
than a wick
playing a melody
in rain
that only
demands touch
in sheets
to cool
and warm
there was
a time when I
could reach
and feel the comfort
now my fingers
entwine a mystery
where words alone
align me
showing
I don’t
wear darkness well

Helen,
But you will again some day...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

This was wonderfully written. One day the happiness will return.

Not wishing to be contentious with a lady, but....I have a feeling you may be laboring under a serious misapprehension....

Helen, this is so pretty, even though the other part is very sad.
Hugs to you, Lady
