That often scar your pride
As you sit there confused
To why...
Why I can be so absorbed
In self-deprecating
Rose petals
Broken chards of promises fall at my bedside
Leaving you a trail
Straight into my past
Straight into your arms
To kiss away the tears that tend to scar my pride
Maybe...
Just maybe
I'd let you in on my secrets
Let you tap into my insecurities
But I seem to be so far away
Rose petals fall at my bedside
Leading you to this Sleeping Beauty
Leading you to this tragic faerie tale story

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
