It’s good to have two minds
I saw myself yesterday, the ugly side
Learned what I didn’t want
I shuddered

It’s good to have two minds
To see the opposing mark
Recovery won’t be easy
And there will be a charge for this

It’s good to have two minds
I’d cut my sleeves off and
Put them back in the closet
Just to save my heart

you have some great words here, I would love to see this same piece broken up into non-standard meter, it might make for something interesting.
