where the wild flowers grow

Abandon
hope,
in an aquatic
submarine.
We
are
crashing.
Nautically,
accusing.

Abandon,
trust
the religious
heiroglyphs, paint
flying cars
and
hysterical
pyromaniacs.

Abandon flame
and watch
the world
burn away.
Standing
lightly
on
an ashtray,

I abandon
hope.

"Standing lightly on an ashtray..."--what a powerful and effective image that is!

Wow...this puts new meaning to sinking fast. Breathe deep...catch your breath, on the wings of your next thought you'll be delivered by *hopes* life preserver!!!! I should know I almost drowned a million times, and I survived. I loved this write, because it brought me back to where I came from, and where I am now. You can do that, too!!!!!! Everyone can win. That's for sure!!!!! I only write this, becase I know how it feels, and how many times I thought I was going to jump off the edge, and would never be able to be revived. Never want to go there again. Keep your head up!
