Dearest Love, My tears are vacant My dreams hollow My senses numb Exposed.. Your Goddess no more Wrapped within the cold Mists of Avalon I am lost... My laughter dim My heart suffocates within Deep beneath the moons blanket Your faerie no more Intoxicated by the pain I seem to only inflict upon myself when I speak of past's name I feel as if I'm not being fair As you sit before me Gushing out your feelings Whilst I sit here A mere shell Afraid to experience What you hold before me Afraid to touch my trembling heart Within your hands I've fallen beneath your spell I can not get close For I know isolation so well We've become ever so intimate These past couple lifetimes Your halo no more... Your Goddess has fallen from her throne Do you not see that I'm tarnished A mere shell Burning within the depths of my own personal hell Yet you still hold My trembling heart within your hands Coaxing me with sweet promises Of a faerie tale love... P.S. I know you're my angel Sweet Archangel Gabriel But why do you insist On adorning me Your tarnished halo? If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
