You are a man of honor, a gentle spirit You wonder if all wrongs can be rectified You hear past haunts disturbing your slumber You see beauty in the soaring bird's view You want reassuring warmth found when two palms join You are a man of honor, a gentle spirit You pretend a man must be unwavering and confident You feel sad when inner peace is interrupted You touch the Iris and smile at its purpose Your worries do not overtake your resolve You cry inwardly and alone You are a man of honor, a gentle spirit You understand the crossing may be dangerous And say fear must not delay the adventure You dream not in half-measures, try whole-heartedly until each goal is reached in hopes of finding the satisfying balance You are a man of honor, a gentle spirit I bought my share of mistakes so I might see some interest. |

You dream not in half-measures, try whole-heartedly until each goal is reached in hopes of finding the satisfying balance You are a man of honor, a gentle spirit This reminds me of a special someone, and I enjoyed the read very much. Nice tribute to all men, especially those who measure up! (hmmmmm, that doesn't sound right) Wonderful poem, Chanson~ |
