Forever In Your Heart

Tiny blue gift box, inside , silver heart locket,
beautiful, love token, I cherish,
his love inside, like a pocket,

Sweet romantic gift, kissed upon and wished,
I wear it around my neck,
Carrying his heart close to mine, cherished,

In sleep it is there, rolling through my hair,
His love rested upon my chest,
Locket of love he has sent with love and care,

Chosen just form, a precious treasure,
My love loves me, endlessly,
When I look at the locket, I smile with pleasure,

All throughout my day, his love is with me,
Wrapped around my neck tightly,
His love I carry all day, relentlessly

Loves locket hangs down upon my heart,
at last his heart and mine together,
One resting, lying on top of the other,

Loves locket, his love token,
Two hearts, one on each side,
Loves gift, no words need spoken,

Loves locket dangles around my neck with pride,
Holding my loves, love inside.

Hi.....this is a really beautiful poem, and I enjoyed the tenderness and sentiments here. I didn't respond earlier, because I somehow felt that it was a private poem between just the two of you. But, as it is posted here, I think it really deserves response, and I am hoping that it gets more. Your writing shouldn't be overlooked, as it is elegant in it's feelings....~~S~~

Sunny~thanks so much for replying, glad you did, when you are in love, you want to show the world, tell the world, especially if your a poet! I post FOR EVERYONE TO READ!!! so does Goldenrose. The worst slap in the face for a poet is to not be read or replied to...they are dedicated, but not private..if so I would just email them..so keep reading and replying! thanks!

James~ go and buy one for the one you love, it will make her happy just from the sentiment..if she is simple and sentimental, she will cherish it!
