Sailing Without The Wind |

And, the wind was taken from our sails... It was always a rocky journey between the two of us. A storm was always brewing and the waves overwhelmed our shaky vessel, threatened to capsize our tiny ship. We were often in the eye of a hurricane...waiting for the high powered winds to rage, the tempestuous seas to roar. I hoped for calm seas, for the touch of serenity, but it never came my way. I tried to sail out of the storm but my sails were flattened without the gusting winds to fill them to billowy fullness. And, when the wind was taken from our sails, it left us sitting in a world of going nowhere. Time was very unkind. So, I jumped ship, set sail by myself and caught the last of my heart, the tale of the wind. [This message has been edited by Ivy Rose (07-28-2003 11:14 PM).] |
