Between The Lines

I think uncontrollable things
writing a million words
to stand them up
on end to end
and you
are still there
between all the lines
things that
escape
others understandings
can you see
do you feel
this ache
that cowers me
in corners
where I try to pretend
that my heart
is not spinning
slipping on tears
when logic
is no measure
in this distance
for I am
an emotional runaway
pacing and circling
back to me
and why is it
that God lets life look
so much prettier
on paper
