I am honest, faithful, true, flirtatious when not blue I wonder why I hide beyond the view of you I hear you mocking me in silent words unsaid I see an angry light when you turn your head I want music in my life each day to be renewed I am honest, faithful, true, flirtatious when not blue. I pretend to be a queen, special in the heart of me I feel the wonder, glory, of love I cannot see I touch the face of him and see his eyes aglow I worry that my grace will bow down to sorrow I cry for lost and lonely, for love that never grew I am honest, faithful, true, flirtatious when not blue. I understand that birds will sing without my voice I say my life on earth with laughter will rejoice I dream of new beginnings, my walking steps to dance I try to waltz and tango down paths of second chance I hope that passion rays will not be numbered few I am honest, faithful, true, flirtatious when not blue.
