I am a bird of darkness and light I wonder if I am sane as I hear the rain play upon my windowpane I see myself within space and sound, you see I want no more to be what I am, a bird of darkness and light I pretend that it doesnt hurt I feel the grip of vise and the grit I touch my face, and admit that I worry I am not strong enough for this fight I am a bird of darkness and light I understand that my path is not through I say that God believes in me so I dream of an island to call home I try to have hope, yet I scream, "I hope I am through with this fight!", thus I am a bird of darkness and light [This message has been edited by littlewing (07-25-2003 06:53 PM).] |
