Lying in bed, holding you tight to my chest,
I listen to a symphony of birds, singing sweet
Choruses outside my window.  Surrounded by
The salty smells of sweat and sex, wishing this
Night might never end.  In less than an hour,
You will go back to your life again, but the
Memory of your taste, and your smell, and how
Perfectly you fit in my arms as you drew in
Each breath of sleep will remain with me when
You’re gone.

PS:  i'm new here and anything you have that might make this, or any of my poems, better, feel free to say it.  I appreciate honest input.  Thanks!
