Feline circles
trying to settle
I could curl a thousand times
and still be hungry
for your hand upon my cheek

Like dust dislodged
swaying to your movements
I fall back to beginnings
where I belonged
when reason was me

Warmth of skin
breathing in your exhale
so close to lips
I speak of you for comfort
decorating the parts I have left.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

"breathing in your exhale"--that's so sensuous...

Honesty is the best policy--and especially with yourself.

This was a very moving piece of poetic expression.

Loving healing hugs,

Thanks for the too kind words...this is all the fault of mature content discussion..remembering all the things I miss. Decided not to lie to myself, and pretend i'm not missing them, cos sometimes I do. So JM, some of this is your fault! he he. But i loved remembering them anyway.

Gemma...I REALLY love this...

"I could curl a thousand times
and still be hungry
for your hand upon my cheek"

and this...

"Warmth of skin
breathing in your exhale
so close to lips
I speak of you for comfort
decorating the parts I have left."

Such lovely thoughts in verse.  Beautifully done.

You guuuuys. say such beyootiful things.

I hate to admit to these feelings, especially since he does't even deserve a second of thought at the moment. But it doesn't go like that does it?

Thankyou for ALWAYS being here with your soothing, reassuring compliments and understanding.
