Another night of uncertainty
Spent in constant agony
Mind racing frantically
Waves of panic engulfing me
Shuffling through frames of memory
As answers continue to elude me
Until in heart-wrenching clarity
I can finally, clearly see
The solution is not within me
The missing piece lies in your hands
And you're not sharing it with me

It's not my nature to give up
Not when I care with all of me
But I can't fight for both of us
Not when it's something I can't win
Though my heart cries bitter tears
I'm struggling  to accept
I have no power or control
Resigning myself to the fact
That I may simply never know
The reason why
You chose goodbye

you just made me cry. how is it possible that we may be in the same situation?

The solution is not within me

god, this says it all.

you would have stayed and fought, even though most of the fault was down to them and their selfishness.

I want answers, as to what changed, why he changed, how he could believe something so much, then let this belief slip away. Its so sad, and we may never get the answers we deserve. Donn't rely on getting them either. or we'll be lying here day after day living in the beautiful memories, forgetting that he doesn't want us ENOUGH.

if you ever need me. i'm here.

beautiful write, going into my library.

much love, gem

Pepper darling sister of my soul, as always your words fall into the depths of my soul, and I see the shaded shadows you've walked in. The gift of your ability leaves me awed, you explain the unexplainable, you paint the picture and add colour and depth to your words that NO OTHER poet can do with such skill. Yes its sad, your skill is heightened I think by the emotion in this. As I've said before darling one, no one else can do it half so well.

Drop silent thoughts into my mind
And take me to that place of find
Where release and discovery
Are waiting there to entice me
Where dreams are held in smiling eyes
A place where truth wears no disguise
Where touch is felt here within
And knowledge is not seen as sin
Please take me to that place divine
Where time is held in passion’s rhyme
In dreaming thought and silent sigh
Fly me to the place of why
Enter those deeps of my soul
Where knowing you makes me whole

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

So heart wrenching. I still have this same pain, it is so hard to get over, I know.

Pepper, this really hurts. I could feel the emotions you feel in it. I hope things are better real soon.

Thanks to all of you for your kind remarks; it is a sad thing that happens, when something ends and only one person gets to make the decision about that... but isn't that the way life goes, most of the time?  We learn to accept, eventually realize that this experience too is one of the tools that makes us be the people we are; and move on.. but for some of us.. we simply refuse to lose the dream.. and I am one of those dedicated dreamers..

this too shall pass.. everything eventually does.. if not into oblivion, then into a more acceptably painful state.. lol

seriously, thanks again, I appreciate the opportunity to share my emotions through poetry with ya'll
