Last evening
the sky had an itch.
So laughing angels
scratched its back
leaving streamers of clouds
for the stars
to play hide and seek
amongst ~
Until a stern north wind
complained ~
and silenced
heavens playground ~

God Chris, this is just what I needed
(well not all the storms but)
you described it so beautifully
and the angels . . . well
I do adore them so (heh)

A shame to "shoosh" the angels away

Nicely done!

Chris, I gasped out loud when I saw that photo! It is sooooooooo much like a painting that I sold a while back, that I am dumbfounded! I actually have goosebumps. In fact two couples came to buy it from me at the very same instant. That had never happened to me before and I didn't know what to do. They started a bidding war! No kidding! Let's just say, that I ended up selling it for a price beyond all dreams! Loved the poem!--and the photo!

THANKS!!!

Well now, I am happily surprised and grateful for the comments I have received for this little piece. Linda...that's an amazing story. The sky actually looked like that to me as my husband and I drove along last night. Then my muse whispered in my ear and I grabbed my paper and pen. hugs!!
