A poem For Earth Angel (Into the World of Fantasies) |

wrote this for earth angel because her fantasy poem took me to places ive never been and heres what i saw hope she enjoys reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it ____________________________________________________ Angel of the night sing for me a song That will send me to the world of dreams Taking me to far-away plains Where fantasy breaths As I enter that world The fairies play They’re sweet lovely tunes While calling my name The unicorns gallop along They’re white coats Glowing in the sun As they ride through the lakes The Mermaids splash them for fun Suddenly smoke fills my vision As I look around and see the dragon Its eyes glowing red Opens its mouth Breathing the most deadliest fires Out of the forest in the distance Come the elves With their bows and arrows Aiming at the dragon And myself I watch as the arrows flow overhead Piecing the dragon As It cries out in pain And falls to the ground With a mighty loud thud The noise echoes far in my fantasy world Waking all the creatures of myth Slowly the creatures turn to dust As the sun shines in on my face [This message has been edited by RedStoneEB (06-15-2003 04:57 AM).] |

too tired for a critique, but i'll give you this much.. it's sound. sound rhythm, sound imagery, not too many cliches and a good cadence surrounding it. i like it.  |
