O' would it be that I could pen,
As did the bards of times back when,
To craft an ode of love sublime,
In splendored rhyme, transcending time.
Alas, I but a mortal be,
Who fails mine quest to shower thee,
With notes of golden nightengale;
Hymns from above in gods' regale.
Forgive me Rose, my simple song,
Is worthy not, thy passion's long,
I drown in well of pain's surfeit,
As I stand mute, in word's defeat.
No flowered phrase to steal thy heart,
No way my love to thee impart.

I really love the wording in this one,
sounds really good aloud..
and slips beautifully through my head.
