You dismantled my heart
And kept the sun from my view
Now when you look inside my soul
You are able to see straight through

I'm just a shadow of myself
Since you took your love away
I was so stupid to have thought
That with me you'd want to stay

You have hurt so many others
And left a trail of misery
Many hearts have been broken
The last one belonged to me

But I have faith in who I am
'tho deep inside there lays a hole
You managed to bruise my spirit
But were unable to crush my soul
