We share in love and laughter
Have dreams that never end
He is that special someone
He remains a lasting friend

We share the friendship path
Have the same imagination
He gave my writing purpose
He is insight and inspiration

We share in sunny and bright
Have humour to correspond
He is the midnight musings
He became a heartfelt bond

We share our heart and souls
Have many reasons to care
He comprehended thoughts
He knows that I will be there
