The kisses were sweet
But they weren't your lips
The arms that held me
Held me tight
All through the night
But it wasn't the same

Even though we danced
To a similar refrain
Held close together
We finished the measure
I still called out your name
And it wasn't the same

yes, Hope, it was with someone else and wishing it were ... sigh.. you understand.. moving on.. moving on.. moving on.. it's a hard thing to do, especially when one doesn't really want to..
