The rich girls sigh Because to them life's a bore And they just want something more As they knock on my door The rich girls pick me up In their leather seat cars Saturns, toyotas and jaguars The rich girls study German lit and philosiphy So why are they drawn to me They buy me cigarettes And take me out to lunch At home it's all Brady Bunch The rich girls paint As if they had nothing better Sit and knit a sweater Or to france; send a letter I'm drawn into their lives I'm from the other side Why do they in me confide? Rich girls write poems And some of them write pretty *good* They write like anyone could "Publish it? You think I should"? And the rich girls always cry When I start telling lies Getting into lows and highs I come to bed She raises the sheets and covers To become sacred lovers The same as all the others The rich girls moan Feels better than being alone As I start driving it home And we are the same person Thoes girls know how to love In their own seperate way And every dog has it's day I love thoes girls At the same time I love them all Just in the very same way As summer, spring, winter, fall I break the rich girls hearts And the rich girls break mine In the end it works out Fine |
