Toerag's Wreck

Hey, no radio for 1430 miles

Toerag decided to take a road trip,
Drove all day long and into the night.
His eyes were seeing very clearly,
And his mind, well it never was right.

The road stretched out long and flat,
For only two lanes it was still easy.
But Toe had gone past his endurance,
And was on the verge of feeling queezy.

He blinked his eyes and shook his head,
Then stuck his neck out and squinted.
He drove his car straight into the ditch,
And all the panels were pretty well dented.

The truck stopped to help Toerag out,
As it seemed rather odd what he had done.
The trucker made sure he was okay,
And said, “I’ve never seen anything like it son.”

Unbeknownst to Toe the truckers headlights failed,
And since he hauled cars it was easy to cure.
Into the car on top and in front he climbed,
Where he turned on the lights so he could see for sure.

Toerag confessed the truth of his actions,
He headed for that ditch intentionally;
Figuring if that thing was as wide as it was tall,
He might be transfigured instantaneously.
